An early 1962 Rolex Datejust 1601 18K Yellow Gold Sword Hands Automatic Wristwatch. Timepiece is in overall excellent condition. 18K yellow gold Oyster case and fluted gold bezel are thick and well defined. Case is fully hallmarked and stamped. Original silver pie pan tritium dial is excellent. Original Sword style hands have a beautiful warm hue. Hands and dial react to UV and fade rapidly at same pace. Original date wheel is present. Caliber 1560 automatic movement is running and keeping time.
