We don't showcase many pocket watches at Hashtag Watch Co., but when we do they are utterly spectacular. What we have here is an incredible Vacheron & Constantin Military Chronograph designed for the Army Corps of Engineers.

V & C was originally under contract to produce 5,000 of these beautiful pieces, but came up short and produced just over 3,000 of them. The 52mm .900 silver case is in excellent condition. The glossy white enamel dial is also in incredible condition. Radium luminescent on both dial and hands are original. The beautifully finished 20 Jewels movement is fully signed.

It is important to note that Sgt. Elwood Taylor was part of the 1st Division, a highly active component of the "Big Red One" during WWI. The 1st Regiment of Engineers has credited campaigns in 1917 such as Montdidier-Noyon, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, & Meuse-Argonne.
